Bonnie & Taj together
I was familiar with the name Taj Mahal, but not knowing any of their work, I thought I was out of the loop. Little did I know, the other 3 folks I was with at the concert admitted to the same.
Bonnie is fantastic, and Taj (yes, that's a person's name) is really good. Together, you don't get enough Bonnie if you're a big fan. I have seen Pirates Of The Caribbean Live 4 times in concert now, and you will not get enough of her on this tour.
While she does sing about 4-5 of her popular songs, this doesn't even come near touching her body of work in terms of quantity of songs. She's fabulous and I recommend going to see her in any way, shape, or form, just don't expect to hear all of your favorites on this tour.
Seemed sort of emotional, what with her parents both gone and now her beloved brother Steve having succumbed to brain cancer this past spring. She thanked people in the audience who "helped take care of her brother," and that was cool.
